Adult Formation creates opportunities for parishioners to grow in faith, ask good questions, and explore Christian life through Scripture, theology, prayer, Episcopal tradition, and conversation. Volunteers may help plan classes, lead discussions, coordinate speakers, or support seasonal studies and small groups. This ministry is for those who enjoy learning, teaching, listening, and helping others deepen their walk with God.

The Parish Calendar helps keep the parish informed, organized, and connected. Volunteers maintain and post the calendar of upcoming church activities so parishioners, newcomers, and ministry leaders can easily see what is happening in the life of the church. This is a practical and important ministry of communication and coordination.

The Parish Directory helps parishioners stay connected by maintaining the electronic parish directory and supporting parishioner profiles in Realm. This behind-the-scenes ministry makes it easier for members to know one another, contact one another, and participate fully in parish life.

Coordinator - John Bassett

The Finance Committee supports the faithful stewardship of Christ Episcopal Church’s financial resources. Working with the treasurer, rector, and Vestry, the committee helps review parish finances, support the annual budgeting process, monitor income and expenses, and provide guidance on financial planning and accountability. This ministry is well suited for parishioners with experience or interest in finance, budgeting, accounting, administration, or thoughtful long-term planning in support of the church’s mission.

The Maintenance Committee helps develop a proactive plan for caring for Christ Episcopal Church’s buildings and grounds. Members identify needs, help prioritize repairs and improvements, and support responsible stewardship of parish facilities. This ministry helps ensure that our physical spaces continue to support worship, fellowship, outreach, and formation.

Memorial Garden Administration supports the care and continuity of the Memorial Garden by keeping records organized and up to date. This quiet but important ministry helps ensure that the parish honors those entrusted to our care with dignity, accuracy, and respect.

Name Tags support hospitality and connection helping parishioners learn one another’s names, welcome newcomers, and build a stronger sense of community.

The Nursery provides loving care for children aged five and younger during regular worship and special services. The Nursery supports families by giving young children a safe and welcoming space while allowing parents and caregivers to participate more fully in worship.

Coordinator - Ann Arnold

Parish Life helps build and strengthen community through social gatherings, seasonal celebrations, receptions, and parish-wide events. Volunteers help plan, coordinate, decorate, serve, and welcome others. This ministry is a joyful way to help parishioners connect, celebrate, and grow together as a church family.

The Parish Post helps keep the parish informed, organized, and connected. The weekly newsletter shares Rector messages and upcoming church activities so parishioners, newcomers, and ministry leaders can easily see what is happening in the life of the church.

Coordinator - Jackie Miller

The Vestry is the elected lay leadership body of the parish. In partnership with the Rector, Vestry members help guide the mission, ministries, finances, facilities, and long-term health of Christ Episcopal Church. Serving on Vestry is a ministry of prayerful leadership, stewardship, discernment, and care for the whole parish.
