Our Location

Christ Church is located just minutes from the main campus of Kennesaw State University and conveniently accessible from the Wade Green Road exit (Exit 273) off Interstate 75, nestled in a quiet residential setting off the main thoroughfare.

What to know as you plan your visit.

  • There are several entrances to the church designed to be accessible to those with mobility needs or other physical limitations.

All entrances to the church are stepless, and the Parish Hall entrance also includes a ramp.

Inside the church, several pews are shortened to accommodate wheelchairs or walkers, including the front pews on either side of the center aisle near the altar, as well as the pews near the large baptismal font.

  • Free parking is available on site in our main lot, with clearly marked accessible spaces located just in front of the main entrance for ease of access. At certain times of the year and on major feast days, parking can become quite full. When that happens, attendees are encouraged to use additional space by parallel parking along the drive in front of the Rectory (Parish House) and the Red Barn Pavilion, as well as in the clearing adjacent to the Parish House.

  • All are welcome at the altar at Christ Church. You do not have to be an Episcopalian to receive the Eucharist (Holy Communion) in the Episcopal Church. If you would prefer to receive a blessing instead of the Eucharist, simply cross your arms over your chest when you come forward.

Basic instructions for receiving the bread and wine (the Body and Blood of Christ) are included in the printed program you receive when you arrive, but please do not worry about “doing it right.” The most important thing is simply to know that God welcomes you, and there is no telling how God might reach you in Communion.

  • Children are most welcome in worship services at Christ Church!

If you prefer to take your child to our nursery (for infants through age 4), please be assured that our nursery staff are well-trained and loving caregivers. The nursery is located just across the hallway from the main entrance to the worship space and is available every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

  • Now all that's left to do is pack your bags and get excited for your new adventure.

Ask the Rector any other questiosn you may have…
